Using the Ortofon OM1S Magnetic Cartridge is quite straightforward. First, check your tonearm. If it's a standard one, leave the weight - plate on the cartridge. But if it's a low - mass tonearm, remove the weight - plate to reduce the cartridge's mass to 2.5g. Then, install the cartridge on your tonearm following the standard mounting procedures.
