This ceramic cartridge with a stylus is a great fit for older BSR and Garrard turntables. Part numbers are PC05 and KC172, similar to SC12M, and it replaces PC06 and KS40A. If you can't find a good stylus, just swap out the whole cartridge. It's an ideal replacement for many cartridges that attach to the headshell with two screws and have pin connections for standard loose wire terminals. The cartridge comes with a snap - in mounting bracket. Note that it's not suitable for magnetic - style cartridges. It includes a D475SR/2 ST17 sapphire stylus and a stylus cover. Using this cartridge is easy. First, make sure your turntable is an older style BSR or Garrard. Remove the old cartridge from the headshell by unscrewing the two screws.
