Product Detail

This charger converts 240Volt AC to 6 or 12Volt DC, delivering a 1.8Amp charge to sealed lead acid batteries. Part No. MB3523. With a 240Volt AC input, it offers a protected 12 Volt 1.8 Amp DC charge rate. The current decreases as the battery charges. It comes with a 2.1mm DC plug and an alligator - clamp adaptor. Features reverse polarity protection, short - circuit protection, and an over - current polyswitch. Ideal for charging sealed lead acid (SLA) rechargeable batteries. Recommended for 6 - volt batteries up to 12AH (max) and 12 - volt batteries up to 4.5AH (max). It's not for use as an AC/DC adaptor for equipment. Save time and money with our charger. We've been in the appliance parts business for over 25 years, so you can buy with confidence.

Using this charger is easy. First, make sure the battery you're charging is a sealed lead - acid (SLA) rechargeable battery. Check that its voltage and capacity are within the recommended limits (6 - volt up to 12AH and 12 - volt up to 4.5AH). Plug the charger into a 240Volt AC power source. Then, connect the charger to the battery using either the 2.1mm DC plug or the alligator - clamp adaptor. Once connected, the charger will start charging the battery. Remember, the charger has reverse polarity protection, short - circuit protection, and an over - current polyswitch, so it's safe to use. But don't use it as an AC/DC adaptor for operating equipment. After charging, unplug the charger from the power source and disconnect it from the battery. Store the charger in a dry place. With proper use and storage, this charger will serve you well for a long time.
