Universal White 30mm Stove Control Knob. Part No. UK-30W1. This versatile knob can replace hotplate simmerstat and gas burner control knobs on numerous stoves and cooktops. It's a great solution when the original parts are unavailable and also works for other applications. The knob has a simple pointing - direction marking. The kit includes 5 different inserts (black and grey pointer inserts), one ignition collar, and a 30mm diameter white knob, fitting most standard simmerstat and burner shaft sizes. With a diameter of 30mm and a height of 23mm, it comes with flush inserts, 10.5mm long inserts for 3/16', 6mm D, and 1/4' D shaft sizes, and 19.5mm long inserts for 6mm and 1/4' D shaft sizes. Using this control knob is easy. First, find the old knob on your stove or cooktop and remove it. Then, select the appropriate insert from the 5 different ones in the kit according to the size of your burner or simmerstat shaft. Insert it into the new white 30mm knob. Make sure the flat side of the D - shaped insert is in the right position. Once the insert is in place, simply fit the new knob onto the shaft. When using the knob, turn it gently to adjust the heat or flame. As for maintenance, clean the knob regularly with a mild soapy solution and a soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners as they might damage the knob's surface.
