Using this Fisher & Paykel ignition pack is straightforward. First, make sure your gas stove or cooktop is turned off and unplugged. Locate the old ignition module and carefully remove it, following the existing wiring. Then, install the new ignition pack, connecting the 2 X 6.4mm spade terminals to the input and the 4 X 2.8mm spade terminal outputs as per the old module's setup. Once installed, plug in your appliance and turn it on to test the ignition. When it comes to safety, always ensure the power is off before installation or maintenance. Keep the area around the ignition pack clean and free from debris. If you notice any issues like poor ignition or unusual noises, turn off the appliance immediately and check the connections. For long - term maintenance, it's a good idea to have a professional inspect the ignition pack every year to ensure it's working optimally.
