Product Detail

This 6 - way electronic ignition module is a great fit for Westinghouse and Chef gas ovens and stoves. Part number 37971SP, it replaces the Scarico part no 37971. Currently, you can also use 809165701, though the mounting is a bit different. It's equivalent to Westinghouse part no 0673001035. With a type of BF50066.50 and operating at 220 - 240VAC, it has mounting holes 122mm apart. There are 3 X 6.4mm spade terminals for input and 6 X 2.8mm spade terminal outputs. It comes with a metal bracket having holes 82mm apart, allowing it to replace the Scarico brand module. This Chef electronic ignition pack is compatible with many models. We've been in the appliance parts business for over 25 years, so you can buy with full confidence.

Using this Chef gas stove electronic ignition pack is easy. First, make sure your gas stove is turned off and unplugged from the power source. Then, carefully remove the old ignition module following the instructions in your stove's manual. Next, take the new ignition pack and align it with the mounting holes. Use the provided metal bracket to secure it in place. Connect the input and output terminals as per the markings. Once everything is connected, plug the stove back in and turn it on. For safety, always check for gas leaks after installation. When it comes to maintenance, keep the ignition pack clean by gently wiping it with a dry cloth. Avoid using any harsh chemicals as they might damage the module. If you notice any issues with the ignition, such as slow ignition or no ignition at all, stop using the stove immediately and consult a professional.
