Product Detail

This is an oven ignition electrode specially designed for Chef gas ovens and stoves. It's an Electrolux part with the number 0049001190. The electrode has a length of 60mm, not including the spade terminal, and the tip of the electrode is 19mm from the bracket. It's held firmly in place by a single screw through a small metal bracket that's part of the electrode itself. Fitted with a 2.8mm spade terminal, it can fit most electronic ignition leads. This ignitor electrode is a great fit for the oven burner in Simpson 74F861W and 74F864W models, as well as many Chef GBC, GUC, and GUK series models. However, some models might require the longer oven electrode available here. If you're not sure whether this part is suitable for your appliance, just provide your full model number, sales code, or production code before making a purchase. Note that this part is no longer available from the manufacturer. But don't worry! We've been supplying top - notch appliance parts to both the trade and retail sectors for over 25 years, so you can buy with complete confidence.

Using this oven ignition electrode is quite simple. First, make sure your Chef gas oven or stove is turned off and cooled down. Then, locate the old ignition electrode and carefully remove it by unscrewing the single screw through the metal bracket. Take your new electrode and place it in the same position, securing it with the screw. Connect the 2.8mm spade terminal to the electronic ignition lead. Once everything is connected, you can turn on your appliance. Before using it, double - check all connections to ensure they are secure. As for maintenance, keep the electrode clean. You can use a soft brush to gently remove any dust or debris from time to time. If you're not sure whether this electrode is right for your model, always provide your full model number, sales code, or production code before buying. Since this part is no longer available from the manufacturer, make sure to handle it with care to avoid damage.
