Using your Westinghouse, Simpson Oven Selector Switch is easy. First, make sure your oven is turned off and unplugged for safety. Then, locate the old switch and carefully remove it, following the wiring setup. Install the new switch in its place, connecting the wires correctly. Once it's installed, plug in the oven and turn it on. You can now select different functions like light, defrost, fan bake, or grill by turning the switch to the appropriate position. When using the switch, always handle it gently to avoid any damage. If you notice any unusual behavior like the switch getting hot or a burning smell, turn off the oven immediately and contact a professional. For maintenance, keep the switch clean by gently wiping it with a dry cloth. Don't use any harsh chemicals as they may damage the switch. Also, check the connections regularly to ensure they are secure. If you're unsure about any part of using or maintaining the switch, feel free to contact us with your brand and model number for assistance.
