Using these Philips halogen globes is easy. First, make sure the power to your downlight or rangehood is turned off. Gently insert the globe into the socket, aligning the pins with the base. Once it's in place, turn the power back on. When handling the globes, avoid touching the glass part with your bare hands as the oils from your skin can cause the globe to overheat. If you do touch it, clean the globe with a soft, dry cloth. For maintenance, check the globes regularly for any signs of damage. If a globe burns out, simply replace it with one from the pack. Keep the remaining globes in a cool, dry place for future use.
