Product Detail

Discover the genuine new type 1550-watt Smeg fan-forced oven element. This high - quality element features a mounting hole right in the center of the bracket. With a power of 1550 watts at 230 volts, it has a diameter of 19.5 cm and an overall depth of 28 mm from the front to the bracket. At 240 VAC, its wattage gets close to 1650 watts. The fixed bracket has mounting holes 57 mm apart, along with a hole in the center. The distance from the outer mounting bracket holes to the mounting hole on the opposite side of the element is 220 mm. It's a perfect fit for many new - model 900 - mm wide Smeg gas and electric ovens, such as C9GMB, C9GMBA, C9GMN, C9GMNA, C9GMXA, C9GMXAT, and more. The unique center hole in the mounting bracket sets it apart from earlier Smeg elements, making aftermarket replacements a challenge. Also, there's no earth terminal on this element. If you're not sure if this part suits your oven, just contact us with your full model number before buying. With over 25 years of experience in supplying appliance parts to both trade and retail, you can buy with confidence.

Using this Smeg oven element is quite straightforward. First, make sure your oven is turned off and unplugged for safety. Then, carefully remove the old element from your oven. Align the new element with the mounting holes in your oven. The center hole and the other holes on the bracket should match up with the corresponding spots in your oven. Once it's properly aligned, secure it in place with the appropriate screws. When using the oven, always set the temperature according to your cooking needs. Remember, at 240 VAC, the element will have a wattage closer to 1650 watts, so you might need to adjust your cooking time slightly. As for maintenance, keep the element clean. You can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe off any debris or spills after the oven has cooled down completely. If you notice any signs of damage or if the element isn't heating as it should, don't try to fix it yourself. Contact us right away. And if you're ever unsure whether this part is suitable for your oven model, give us a call with your full model number before making a purchase.
