This is a brand - new style mesh lint filter designed for Simpson, Westinghouse, and some Electrolux dryers. It's a genuine part with part numbers 0144300008 and 0144 - 300 - 08D. It's similar to 0144300001, SMD036A, and D045, but not interchangeable. It fits many newer models like Simpson Sirocco and early Eziset types. The filter has a diameter of 228mm. Unlike the older 0144300001 filter, it doesn't have small raised spacers around the edge. Older Simpson models use a foam filter. This filter is easy to install and comes with a full guarantee.
