Product Detail

This is a non-genuine 355Watt defrost element for Fisher & Paykel fridges and freezers, without inline fuses. The part number is RFP022B, and you can also use RFP022A. It's similar to genuine part numbers FP821727P, 821727P, and Qualtex part numbers RFP022, RFP022A, as well as Wilson part number FR-05. It replaces several old part numbers like FP818971P, 818971P, FP874175, 874175, FP881411P, 881411P, FP883374P, 883374P, FP820694P, 820694P, FP821730P, 821730P. This U-shaped defrost heating element is for the freezer compartment of some 635 series Fisher & Paykel frost-free refrigerators and freezers. It operates at 322 Watt, 240 Volt AC, with 175 ohms. It's 415mm wide, with 150mm and 200mm bent-up ends, and has bare wires without inline fuses. It fits 635 series no-frost fridge/freezer models E331T, E372B, E381B, E381T, E411T, E415H, E402B. You'll need to reuse the original inline fuses and plug. It's not suitable for models using R600a gas. The original element in some of these models had much shorter bent-up ends. We've been supplying appliance parts to the trade and retail for over 25 years, so you can buy with confidence.

Using this defrost element is easy. First, make sure your fridge or freezer is unplugged. Then, locate the old defrost element in the freezer compartment. Remove it carefully, and note how the original inline fuses and plug are connected because you'll need to reuse them. Attach the new defrost element in the same position. Plug your fridge or freezer back in, and it should start working. As for maintenance, keep an eye on the defrost function. If you notice any issues like ice build-up, it might be time to check the element. Also, avoid using this element in models that use R600a gas as it's not suitable. We've been in the appliance parts business for over 25 years, so if you have any other questions, don't hesitate to reach out.
